If your behind a router/firewall you need to forward whatever ports unreal is listening on in order for connections to pass through. If you have no clue what I'm talking about then you should do some looking through your router manual and read up a bit on both the ircd and operation of your router ...

I just created a new directory to install unrealrc2 in. Basically /home/ircd/unrealrc2/bin and /conf . Then I copied over all the .conf files from the old dir to the new one, stopped the old ircd started the new one and done.
