Is your unrealircd.conf in ../Unreal3.2/docs/ or ../Unreal3.2/ folder?
It has to be in Unreal3.2 folder...

You could run services like anope that have BotServ and create bot X with it, and set it to auto assign it, and create alies on /msg X to /msg BotServ :) Also set XOP off so there is access in channel ops list.
It's crazy idea..but could work :)

LOL, you should realy read documentation and instructions...
you have to create unrealircd.conf file...you have example config in /doc folder

You should check you BG proceess to see if wircd.exe is running. If you have installed unrealircd as service then you don't get any dialogs or tray icons, just process running in background.
Else...if not then you have some errors still..
