usually services run at the same machine the uplink-ircd is running on - so if you connect them using 127.0.0.1 noone is able to get any communication
(except someone entered you machine, but in this case the 127.0.0.1-traffic is a minor problem ;) )

is this "runnung mirc as service" ment to be mirc as the daemon to provice nickserv/chanserv-functions, or is it ment to be "service" in the windows-slang, as a "way" a process is running?

Though I can´t see the advantages of having all services in visible in one single channel, I use the os_staychan module for Anope so that ChanServ appears in every registered channel. That way you are able to see whether a channel is registered or not on joining it. I deem this helpful, though oth...

why do you need a certain programm for pasting text?
Either write live if you're teaching something, or prepare it before and copy/paste. I'm not aware, that there are any different solutions for that...

oh - there are really funny mirc-scripts out there!
some hide server-messages important for the user (mostly error-messages - and the opers have to guess what's wrong...)
some even cancel the case-sensetivity for channel-modes - as a kind of climax of this crap...
