Where on _earth_ is the linking code?

Where is the linking code? I am looking into coding a "semi-server" to link to my net to perform certain U:line duties, so I need to figure out the link protocol--a link to the link docs (;)) or a finger in the direction of the correct file would be nice.

What oper level is required for /addline?

Does /addline write it to the config file, or add it to the "memorized" config file, or both?

I know alphanumeric (but cant START with a number), | and ` but what other if any are there?

The second number in /map is the numeric correct? ("Server (1) 12"<--this)

Well, they don't show up for Services or Stats...i know you have to set them in the services config, so I was wondering why they don't show up.. and is there any way to find them out.

noticed nobody had replied to that last post about the port your using elmo, so...

I BELIEVE (im note sure) that FTP uses 21. i may be wron, but im fairly sure it uses 21 or 70 or 71 or somthing like that (although of course, you can always change it in the conf for THAT--check?). And HTTP/Apache ...
