They're different versions of Unreal...each was installed originally to the directory they are in, however they both read from the conf file in /program files/unreal3.2

OK, I found why this happened. It was reading a different conf file that didn't have the operblock added. God knows why its doing it, but, problem solved.

Reading conf from different Unreal folder?

When I open wircd.exe in the folder /Program Files/Unreal3.2_2 it reads the conf file located at /Program Files/Unreal3.2 (notice the _ in the first one).
Why and how do I fix this?

Fuck notepad. Why did it tell me there was no match for 'hello'?

Just another reason to crush all Microsoft products.

/addline :(

Well I guess something like it happens to all of us eventually.

One of my opers did /addline hello
Now I can't find where it added the line to (CTRL+F in unrealircd.conf reveals nothing) and the server won't load.
How do I get rid of it?

Yes, the operblock does work with the new flags. You however have demonstrated you don't know how to work them because there is no sadmin flag, there is admin for server admin and services-admin for services admin.

What, you think codemastr would release a version of the IRCd with a completely ...

OK so I changed the operflags and snomasks, but still it gets the error.
I tried doing the test oper and got the same error (no O:Lines for host)
I still don't see what's wrong with the operblock.

hrmm...
Well it worked fine for a second, then I tried to see what would happen if I changed my oper block to class leet-clients (yes, I did add a class { for that) and now everything is fucked up. I get these errors on rehash (the first two of which I got on rehashing even when it did work)

Erm...I'm sorry but I just got everything set up a few days ago and this is too complicated for me...

I have no idea how to use nopasscont, and I cannot figure it out from the docs. If you could explain it or even give an example i would be most grateful.

Sorry for my n00bishness

Configuring the Allow block

Hi,
Is there any way I can set it up so that anyone can connect to my server (with or without a password) but if they DO supply a password, they will have a different set of restrictions in the allow config?
Specifically I want to change allow:maxperip 2 to allow:maxperip 4 for people who connect ...
