'old' hostname displayed

So here we go again...

I recompiled my 3.2.3-Version with a new hostname, but it's not recognizing it, still giving me the old one above the motd. I already restartet, but nothing happened.
Know what to do?

Ok, see I don't care if you think this is point-/useless, if I want to make it like this, why not? I justed asked a simple question. Why just don't tell me 'Sorry, but it is not possible' or 'Just edit the x.conf and change this and that, it's working fine then' Shouldn't be that hard, or did no one...

Ok, solved it myself - the ircd was started twice, once by myself and once through crontab :oops:

I don't know who did that, but it had a link to itself :evil:

I removed the whole block, now it says

Shell doesn't resolve hosts!!!

Hi, I got that error-message from my server after updating to 3.2.2:

XXX.XXX.XXX couldn't resolve hostname, using IP instead

but why?? What do you need 2 help me?
