Though I can´t see the advantages of having all services in visible in one single channel, I use the os_staychan module for Anope so that ChanServ appears in every registered channel. That way you are able to see whether a channel is registered or not on joining it. I deem this helpful, though ...

It´s good to here that I´m not the only one who would prefer something like AuthServ. Sadly it won´t help me if WinSE some day uses this system, because my server is running on Linux...
