I reinstalled gcc, and still no luck.

I have the ircd working fine on windows... I am trying to install it on Fedora Core 3 now... I get this error when it tries to compile Config: checking for gcc... gcc checking for C compiler default output... a.out checking whether the C compiler works... yes checking whether we are cross compiling....
