hello, i'm not sure if this is issue only on my network, but setting up a ban "?!*@*" disables any more bans. it was supposed to ban nicks with only one character, and i've tried it in several channels always after this one was set, the channel ignored any more new bans after until it was ...

he doesn't need to connect altogether. sniffer can operate everywhere on the way as the packet is transmitted. if anyone on that channel was without ssl, sniffing him would reveal the entire channel's content. using ssl improves security, but watch out for fingerprint change when examining server's ...

i have the ident-check option enabled in .conf but it does not work when i connect from localhost, it returns that it has response, but then gives the ident based on user's client settings and not on the real login name (linux machine) when i connect remotely from the server which has identd install...

i've got some success with Syzop's regexcept module which allows certain registered nicks to be in ban exceptions so the user must be identified to services and also have a nick exception in a channel. sadly it probably isn't possible to do this with k-lines because the user would't have a chance to...

identd for some ips

hi

I'd like to know if someone has (or if it even exists) a module that will automatically kill newly connected users, from which the server won't get identd response. I'd like to use such a module only on users which have dynamic ip providers(listed in some config file perhaps?).
