ok...
now i'm looking stupid i know....

I've put this line in the list of except ban in my unruealird.conf:

except tkl {
mask *@*h438etc*;
};


after rehashing i'm getting a error that the configuration didn't pass the test.

For except tkl do i have to use a module?

Ok...thanks..it's working...:)

One last question....
I've put all network admins, serveradmins servicesadmins in the except ban list (eline).
When adding a gline on my own connection it stil bans me or the toher netadmin and services admins etc.

I'm guessing that the except ban list is only ...

klines are stored in memory, restarting the server will cause you to loose them all.

Yes it's the same with glines and other server side bans.

however, with glines, since they are network, the server will re-import them from a linked server if it's still live (I use this when i upgrade the two ...

Klines gone...

I'm still a beginner....

But after restarting the server (it doesn't happen much) all my klines are gone.
Can someone tell if that's also the case with glines etc.

Yeps...

I'm sorry. I've indeed tried to load it with the4 c file....
I've got a friend who had helped me with making the module etc.
I've now load it and everything works.

error code

After loading this module in the Unreal3.2 map, changing my unrealird.conf en rehashing i get the error code:

unrealircd.conf:36: loadmodule src/modules/m_killprotect.c: failed to load: tmp/C6474F3C.m_killprotect.c: invalid ELF header


Can someone help me with this error?

Stealth mode

Hello i'm a network admin.
I want to use the stealth mode.
When I put the line can_stealth in de ircd.conf file, with my oper section.
Then when i'm rehashing (/rehash) i get the message that it is an unknown flag.
Can you tell me how i can add this flag so that i can use the stealth mode.
