Re: Unicode support for Arabic
Thanks for the insight. I'll experiment with some different clients and see which would work best.

Unicode support for Arabic
Hey all,
I have a user who is requesting unicode support for communicating with his friends in Arabic.
Is this even possible? Are there any disadvantages, aside from unicode nicknames taking up 2 bytes per character (essentially cutting the allowed length of the nick in half)?

Re: Need help with simple regex
Although this worked, another user happened to type a really long string that included the blocked text.
Here's what I need:
How would I go about using s.*n.*i.*c.*k.*e.*r.*s, except the characters between each letter would be limited to 5?
For example: S (random character) (random character ...

Re: Need help with simple regex
Nevermind... I received help from the #unreal-support room this morning.
In case anyone has the same problem, the solution was: s.*n.*i.*c.*k.*e.*r.*s

Need help with simple regex
Hello,
I'm running Unreal3.2.7. I know how to use the /spamfilter commands, but I'm not very familiar with regex.
Could someone please tell me how I could ban a single word (including spaces, underscores, and other characters between the letters)?

Setting "Excess Flood" Exceptions
Hi there,
We have a network status bot that spits out messages periodically in a private channel. About once a day, it disconnects due to "Excessive Flood" as shown below. Is there any way to add a flood exception for this bot (without giving it an o:line), so that it does not get disconnected when ...

Does using OS RAW to assign services bots cause desynching?
I'm currently running Unreal3.2.3 with anope-1.7.12.
It was brought to my attention that using OperServ raw to join service bots to channels may cause desynching (dropped links).
I don't know a lot of background as to why using OS raw for joins would cause server delinks, but I'm really interested ...

Question about spam settings
I'm running Unreal3.2.3, and I have narrowed the following message down to coming from the IRCd. But this error message doesn't appear to reflect anything in spamfilter.conf. Please note that I have not touched spamfilter.conf nor any other spam setting as of now.
