why would they paste their status window in a private query anyways? why not just do it in a private channel?

no.. he escaped all the spaces.. which is pretty dumb imo [edit] and the first period [/edit]

there are a lot of clients that don't respond to finger. Xchat, and Irssi are just to name a few. even mIRC clients won't respond to finger if they are scripted to not do it. you might as well find some other way to deal with the bots
