Stskeeps says goodbye.

So , after a long wait, I've decided to pull out of the UnrealIRCd project - which I started back in 1999. My reasons for this is that IRC has reached a point where it's growing increasingly difficult to do anything remotely inventive, restricted by the lack of cooperation in the IRCd community and...

Yes, admittedly there's no such thing as proper result tracking, but in most cases you can live without it .. Not sure what you're trying to do, but making a services bot instead might do it better.

Make your mark on Unreal4 development

This is your chance to affect how Unreal will look in the future :) The way to do this, is to register an account on http://bugs.unrealircd.org and enter one of these pages, and leave a comment (by the Add Note form). We will use all of these inputs to determine which direction to take the IRCds - a...

Strategy Change, Unreal3.2.7 Release, New Website

[ Strategy change ] - This is important, please read. Unreal3.2.7 will be released on 14th July 2007 - marking 8 years since the first UnrealIRCd release. With this, we've decided to do a rather big change in strategy. Fact is, the Unreal3 code base has gone stale and is not suitable to service your...

Unreal TNG prototype public

If it passed anyone by, beside the Unreal3 branch, we're also working on a total recode of Unreal, to make it more suited for the future (or whatever you might call it.). Some of the new things in Unreal4 is that we are 1) coding it in C++, 2) all modules are in a specific C++ syntax extension that ...

You could look into re-compiling the windows ircd yourself, there's plenty of guide and information about it. However, if your software doesn't understand simple PING/PONG, you should look into fixing it. The reason nospoof is in, still, is not due to DNS stuff, but because it can stop a certain typ...

Hrm.. for good measure, services motd is something services distribute and is shown in the MOTD at all servers.. I think the name is a bit misleading
