ha, thanks. i really should have realized that. all's well, unreal rocks!

yeah, actually scratch all of that. i can connect and it's working fine, i just don't get the UI screen for it at all.

...start.

i've done everything i think i need to do, and my service.log states:

* Loading IRCd configuration ..
* Configuration loaded without any problems ..


but it doesn't actually start. nothing happens. i'm getting no error message, and the service.log says i'm good... but nothing. any ideas ...
