what services are you using? there is an alias for them in the alias folder that needs to be included in the unreal config

So from what you're saying it would seem that the user doesnt get user mode +x (cloaks your host) Do you by any chance have more then one server on the network, and this user is for example, connecting to another server, which is set up not to give user mode +x on connect? Either that or is the use...

It's not the IP address. The IP does resolve to a FQDN. This is clearly visible to all users opers or otherwise. No prefix, not hidden host at all and not a Vhost done by the server either. I have one user that isnt getting the cloaked prefix from the config file when they connect. Any ideas on why that would happen?

you can enable the option for a current oper to write to the config file and then rehash, but there is no simple adminserv available for this function.

on other ircds this is done with local channels &channel instead of #channel. but local channels arent supported in unreal at this time ... dont think they will be either ... not much use for them

remove zlines

I am running BOPM and it placed a zline on a user.

I went to remove this zline with /zline -*@ip and nothing happens.

never mind i found my error :-)
