Hello, I have A User I Want banned off my ircd, I Have him banned in the channels but not the server.


Can somone tell me the command to ban him? He's not in a channel :S

Weird thing enough, on one of my windows servers... i can have 4088 connections... and on another windows server.... (same OS, same RAM.. Same everything) i can only have 2088.... I Wonder why... ... I've checked my connection limit in the config and i put 999999999 ... anyone have any ideas?

Hello, I'm currently running windows unrealircd which allows 4088 connections... I Was wondering on how to raise the limit?... i know you need to compile it... but could somone walk me through on doing this? ...

Ok, i understand that the first person who /opers is +o'd and than pulled to #Opers .. And When I do it thats what happens.. but when my friend does it.. hes puleld to #Oper .. but inside the oper.. he cannot +O himself .. nor can he become operator....... :S on other linux servers.. this same thing ...

How can i Add another user to the opt list..... and yes i did read it....also on linux ircds.... its never done this .. just windows

and that dosent explain why when i oper myself and i de-opt... i cant re-opt myself... it says ur not channel operator

Oper does not seem to work the way it should on my server...... if my friend makes A room... and i join it.... and than i try oper.... it does not let me.......something is wrong with it... perhaps, i could show you guys?

try connect to my irc channel and oper urself... /server 209.17.170.193 /oper ...

Ok.... Look.. I Can oper fine... by typing /oper Ryan h4tr3d ... but my friend when he types it.... he goes into the oper room... but he cannot +o Himself.......... Something must be wrong with my oper block i know it........

I got oper working for me only... but my friend cant... it takes him to opers room but thats it... anybody know how to set it to unlimited # of operators?

Hello, I have Unrealircd setup for windows.. on my win 2008 server... it runs fine...


but I can't seem to set the oper permissions right.... could someone maybe walk me through a tutorial on how to do it?... I Basically want to be able to login my ircd and anyone who knows the oper can oper ...
