Yes /unrealircd/conf is the default location for ircd.motd and ircd.smotd, so the same directory where your unrealircd.conf is in. Are you really using 4.0.4? I only ask because there was a bug in earlier versions (4.0.3.x) where it wasn't reading from the right location.. Yes I am and I didn't /re...

Hi there guys, just installed the new 4.0.4, everything's up and running but I have a really stupid issue with the MOTD files. I created both ircd.motd and smotd in /unrealircd/conf is it right? If yes, why it keeps me sayin "MOTD files missing" on connect? I know this is kind of a silly q...
