Re: protect IRCoper from kick
If your services are ulined, they can kick anyone. The only way to completely prevent services from kicking Opers is to remove them from the Uline list. Umode +q only protects against non-Ulines.

Gline GECOS
I'm taking preventative measures on my network, and I am trying to shut out all wIRC users. wIRC is not a threat to me, I just see it as an annoyance. Although there is no 100% un-evadable way of closing out all connections from wIRC (or other malicious clients), it is possible to put things into ef...

UnrealIRCd on Windows 7
Has anyone been successful / tried running UnrealIRCd on a Windows 7 machine? I'm asking purely out of curiosity , as I have a Linux Box that has those capabilities. If I recall, back when I had Vista, it couldn't understand a .conf file and was not able to open it in Notepad correctly.

Require Channel Modes
How do I lock channel modes? When someone joins a channel, modes +nt are locked in, how do I lock modes +CGnt and then when registered, +CGnrt - my server is an all ages server, and I want to block CTCP.

Re: [FIXED][10053] Software caused connection abort
I figured out the problem... from another non-UnrealIRCd Forum
UnrealIRCd was confused by all of the ports, so it's recommended that you use 1-2 ports.

How do I host UnrealIRCd Servers with a Dynamic IP (DHCP)?
I have a DHCP (Dynamic IP Address). I heard there are ways to host UnrealIRCd Servers on a Dynamic IP, and the most common way is "no-ip". How do I configure No-IP and UnrealIRCd to work together so users can connect?

How do I install UnrealIRCd Modules for Windows?
Yeah this probably seems like a ridiculous question, but I'm not sure how to install modules for UnrealIRCd in Windows. If someone could give me a quick instructional with an example-mod that'd be great.

[FIXED][10053] Software caused connection abort
This error occurs when users try to connect to my server. I connect just fine, and so do the Services. I've turned off my firewall for good measure as a test I've factored out my router from the situation I'm directly connected to my Modem SHOUTcast ports function 100% UnrealIRCd is listening here: ...
