First question on my mind is... are you set on operserv on your services. secondly.. are you set correctly there.. thirdly.. are you identified to operserv as well as being opered on the daemon ?

in your unrealircd.conf... do you have at the top the following in your include statements..
include "help.conf";
2nd question... is the help.conf in the same open folder as the unrealircd.conf?

logging channels is only done by your client ie mirc as a personal setting for channels that you are in. logging all chat in channels using a server daemon or services is highly unethical and you will not get a module anywhere. there is a module Logchan on anope which does the following but that wil...

Thats what i had to do lol... i had to totally take unreal offline.. then log into the backend and remove courtroom before going back though recompiling all the modules before starting everything back up again.

thanks for the update Stealth... however.. on Unreal version.. i "AM" running unreal 3.2.9 as per /version output - Unreal3.2.9. cqchat.co.in FhinXOoEmM3 [Linux host-3880 2.6.32-5-xen-amd64 #1 SMP Tue Mar 8 00:01:30 UTC 2011 x86_64=2310] - so i have no idea why it told me i was set for 3.2...

probably a daft question.... but you have set your restrict modes block UP on your unrealircd.conf yes Westor re stopping users accessing modes they shouldnt. or isnt this releveant in this case Stealth regarding the module's coding?

I might be looking at upgrading from 3.2.8.1 to the 3.2.9 in the next few weeks..
can i just move my existing unreal.conf from 3.2.8.1 and transfer it directly into the 3.2.9 folder or is the conf file different?

Thanks Syzop. I do quite a bit of front user testing for a local web design company where i break their cms and user interface as they code it to uncover issues prior to release. if you wanted a hand in this area i would be tempted to lend my skills

irco as far as i know is based from Undernet not unrealircd so it is totally different code to unreal. the Oper one i am not too keen on the idea of that but an edit is all that would be needed to this module from one of my earlier threads... http://forums.unrealircd.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7594...
