Re: IRCop Error

make sure you include operclass.default.conf in your unrealircde.conf, and in your oper block: operclass netadmin-with-override;
here you can see an example of oper block: https://www.unrealircd.org/docs/Oper_block

If you have usermode +o, try /mode #chan -i

Re: Users are getting Auto Op

Hello, Connect to your server and see if HOPM is sending a notice, the default message is: You are now being scanned for open proxies. If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear. If that message is commented, like: #notice = "You are now being scanned for open proxies. If you have no...

Re: unable to make temporary file: Permission denied

UPDATE: (20:33:43) <dch> you need to use a supported version of FreeBSD (12.0 is not, so you can't install working ports). (20:34:03) <dch> https://reviews.freebsd.org/D24211 (20:34:32) <dch> and you'll need to be on a supported version of FreeBSD to download working binaries from freebsd packages

Re: unable to make temporary file: Permission denied

I have Unreal 5.0.4 installed and running in the same machine, that is the reason I did open this topic here.

Anyways, I will try to get an opinion if I can from FreeBSD support and than update this topic, and once again, I get that error during ./Config so I never get to make or make install.

You thought I might have posted fake logs and tried to solve my issue?

Re: unable to make temporary file: Permission denied

Installation is done as user, no sudo used at all.
I did create new username (all lowercase) and again I get the same error

Re: m_signore module

https://gitgud.malvager.net/Wazakindjes/unrealircd_mods/src/master/man/signore.md This module allows privileged opers to set a server-side ignore of sorts, making 2 users' messages invisible to each other (in private only tho, just muteban them if they shitpost in-channel or something). Servers, U-L...

If you do install unrealircd as user, your path should be: /home/username/unrealircd/logs
