It's hard when it's the network owners spamming and the hosts won't do anything because they don't see it as coming from their IP's

Hi Guys,

I've been struggling to keep up with spam from a certain network recently and currently have the following filter set;

*f[ ]{0,3}i[ ]{0,3}n[ ]{0,3}a[ ]{0,3}l[ ]{0,3}f[ ]{0,3}o[ ]{0,3}n[ ]{0,3}t[ ]{0,3}a[ ]{0,3}s[ ]{0,3}y*

but now they have changed tactic to the following;

(F)inal(F ...

I kinda half thought it might be the need for irc\..+\..+ but could not think for the love of me.

I've added the following spamfilter warns to our network

/spamfilter add p warn 0 Possible_Spam_Links_in_PM www.*
/spamfilter add p warn 0 Possible_Spam_Links_in_PM irc.*

But I am getting the following hits;

[13:19] -irc.ukchatters.co.uk- [Spamfilter] m0rpheus!male@IPHIDDEN matches ...
