1 room from chatters on my server have this weird problem. When I join there registrated room with webchat, the services bot joines but I as chatter get @ and the bot gets nothing. When I do the same using ircclient its fine and bot gets & and I get nothing ...

1 other question after upgrade to 4.0.10. There is this I noticed...when you give the command /version you always got:

when I was testing my new server I installed UnrealIRCD. Now that server is live for months already and updated to v4.0.10
When I tested I used an other server name like irc.blabla.com But now it is since its live irc.bleble.com (I dont wanna spam) :)

for as far I tested, the only thing that works is //mode $me +D on me myself. 2 others tryed the same and for then i did not worked.

Also in LightIRC webvhat it does noet work. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to set settings?

On Mirc the first command //mode $me +D (If Mirc) is working fine.
I also run a flash webchat specially for Mirc but command 1 is not working, It gives- Unknown command "/mode"

The second command /mode nick +D don't work on Mirc. I get this: Cant change ...

I tried the "easy option" before I wrote the topic but it didn't work for me. When I gave the path to unreal it says this is a directory. But now with recompile its fixed. Thanks a lot.

I did this:

Open src/modules/m_nick.c in an editor. Around line 478 change:
(void)strlcpy(sptr->name, nick, NICKLEN);
To:
(void)strlcpy(sptr->name, nick, NICKLEN+1);
Then save, recompile and rehash your UnrealIRCd.
This is exactly the same as the patch script would do.
