Spamfilters added by yourself from IRC aren't saved in any file, but stored in memory and are lost when you shut down the server. Your best deal would be to save them all in spamfilter.conf (also make sure you have an include line in unrealircd.conf like this one: include "spamfilter.conf";)

Some services support bad words for individual channels. But the Unreal badwords list is server-wide.

1. Check if firewalls are blocking the DCCs.
2. /localinfo -uh (mIRC command).
3. Are the people behind routers?
4. Why DCC and not some sort of file sharing network (like DC hubs)? mIRC was never made to share files, it was made to be an irc client.

A bot can´t prevent someone from being kicked. A module, however, could.

Because channel settings are gone when the channel disappears (the last person parts). If you want Anope to preserve at least SOME channel modes, try mlock:

Code: Select all

/cs set #channel mlock +ntsi
.

Try /cs help set mlock for more information.

Ok. Either this is a very smart spam bot, or a very stupid person.

unrealircd.conf IS the correct file name. Just make sure you read the documentation about how to save it, where, and where from. :P

The forums were also down this morning (I'm in GMT+2). That was about... 7-8 hours ago. Just in case you didn't know about it.

I think the problem is here:

Code: Select all

echo $colour(notice) -st $+(-,$nick,-) $1- $+( ,[) $+ $chan(#) $+ ]
The part I think is wrong is this: $+( ,[). For what I know, " " (space) is not a valid parameter. Try $chr(32) instead.

2000 support threads.

Just noticed that the UnrealIRCd Support forum has exactly 2000 threads. *Marking the moment.*
