Only 1 problem now... if people try to go to my irc webpage they have a chance to be directed to the server that doesn't have that :( What a bummer :(

It would only be removed until someone re-added and by the sound of it that's what you're looking for is an all day birthday mode.

Client Dispersal

Is there a way to set it so that when users connect to irc.server.add they are transfered to server1.irc.server.add or server2.irc.server.add? I believe the term is Round Robin...

sdm I think it's because of the amount of spam it would generate. You do realize that there are people out there who would exploit it and set that person to be repeatedly killed everytime they came online? Yea sure you could fix it by simply removing that person from your server but what's the point...

SCP FTW! I like my WinSCP ^.^ Just remember though if you download the conf and edit it then upload it make sure you do it repeatedly if you ever edit it via MC in SSH.

Jason I don't think they were wanting the spamfilter for repeating on the same line. I think they were asking about multiple lines being repeated. IE pressing the up key and just doing that repeatedly to flood the channel. That's why I posted the botserv stuff. If you're running Anope you can config...

Well what was the result? Did it not work? I'm not really too familiar with running UnrealIRCd on windows. I use it on Linux alone.

[!!!] OpenSSL version mismatch: compiled for 'OpenSSL 0.9.8a 11 Oct 2005', library is 'OpenSSL 0.9.7c 30 Sep 2003'
I'm not sure where the library came from but that seems to be the major issue. Have you tried installing OpenSSL 0.9.7c and seeing if that works?

I also recommend you search for a shell account. They are cheap and offer good uptime. You don't have to worry about locking the box down because that's controlled by the shell administrator. Another thing you can also do is check out something like http://www.serverpronto.com where they give you fu...

Static-X: CGI-IRC support is currently in the CVS version of Unreal. Also by CGI I am guessing that you are talking about the old CGI module which would convert CGI:IRC ip addresses and have the server automatically give the users real address instead of the applet (with the address cloaked of cours...

Did you leave the src/ircd alone? You might want to just try doing a default install and not changing the install dir or the src dir.

If you're using anope just set a bot (from botserv) to join the channel. Then type /bs help kick. You can then configure the bot to kick/ban users for things like this -BotServ- Note: access to this command is controlled by the -BotServ- level SET. -BotServ- Syntax: KICK channel option parameters -B...
