<dutch>Nee, natuurlijk niet... Als dat het was geweest, was de oplossing allang naar voren gekomen.</dutch>

Translation: No, ofcourse not. If that would be it, the solution would be given by now.

Re: Flood blocking by the server

In case you can't code a module yourself, it will come down to chanmode +f. Chanfouders, in my opinion, should be able to set and unset modes and should be able to paste for example a headline of a paper they've seen on the net, at their demand. Anyway, I want wish you luck with your search to your ...

Re: Flood blocking by the server

How would you like to do that in that case?? Then you should be in every channel (which aren't all yours, I think) and watching them to see if anyone is possibly flooding. After that you have to issue a command. If you got like 100 robots in a chan flooding, I wish you luck, because that's not going...

Re: Help with my config file please

Could you be more specific? What is the problem? Did you do exactly as mentioned in the example.conf ?

Re: Help with my config file please

I would suggest you to use the example.conf in the map 'doc(s)'. I miss some things in this config, like a listen block.

Re: Global & Notice Messages

That's done by NeoStats services or something I believe. Click here to go to their homepage.

Anope has got a Logchan function though, which can be turned on by: /os set logchan on. The channel should be in the services.conf. This is a services issue and should be posted in the services section ;)

Re: There is no REHASH

I've downloaded XChat on my Linux box and I don't have any problems using /rehash. Where did you download it? I've downloaded the official one I believe: can't remember anymore. I haven't used it anymore for ages...

Re: There is no REHASH

Well, I use mIRC as I chat on Windows based computers (my server is running on Linux btw). The thing I don't 'like' with Xchat is the fact that it hasn't multiserver support. I don't know pidgin IRC nor naim IRC, but if it's some kind of applet, you can't oper yourself up, but I'm not sure about tha...

Re: There is no REHASH

So, let me get this straight. Opering up by /oper <username> <password> (without the < and >) won't work? If that doesn't work, I wouldn't know any solution left for this issue..
