all you need too run remote includes is unreal configured with curl and a http/ftp server. and a lot of people like and enjoy remote includes, I'm sure you aren't one because you don't know how to use them.

Something has to have constant access over the channel, either a bot or services... if either isn't present over the channel (and no oper present) then anyone can simple /hop to gain +o :)

few commands you should look into learning... and by the way, unreal is the wrong place to be learning how to use a linux/unix operating system... killall (procid) : example killall ircd ps aux ps aux -U (username) out side of the possiblity that, you might wanna check if you are binding anything to...

first off it looks like your hostnames are backwords... second, unless you know what you are doing (which we know you aren't) do not try linking leafs. you should first try linking two hubs. making your life more simple. and last, remove all options until you have a full understanding what they mean...

there are serveral problems with this...

1. you can't have the same numeric
2. you shouldn't link on the same ports a clients
3. what listen ports are open
4. does 'default' class exist

You would need to use services to do this.

Create access lists for both channels, and set the channel so that only users on are ident and on the access list can enter. Very easy to do...
