Code: Select all

Sets the message which will be sent via /notice to users
when they enter the channel. If no parameter is given,
causes no message to be sent upon entering the channel.
Not a motd per se, but will do the job.

Though a unethical admin who would spy on your channel will probably find a module to spy on your pm, and at least you know when he spys on your channel by the obvious method I thought the only method to 'read along' PM's was to link up servers an sniff the packs between 'em...? #chan You're not a channel owner Just as it states, you're not the channel owner. Why would you expect to be protected as one? Being a Net Admin does not (and should not) give you unrestricted access to absolutely everything. I'd say that'd depend on the net's policy, not someone's personal view. ;...

Assuming mIRC as client:

ON 1:JOIN:#whatever: /if $nick == $me { /msg operserv mode $chan +q $me }

Seeing u both 'founded' a network, i take it both of ya's are opers aswell, hence, the easy way typed above.

Well Beware couldn't handle all shyte i wanted to, security and channel protection n stuff. So untill I get the hang of this Unreal/anope combo, which has proven to be mighty powerfull, I'd like the bot (as a service) to provide the things i haven't done yet.
