hi there the new addon that are using the attackers to connect clons to our network uses by realname only a " " yes, a space, the first time they attacked us, I added a spamfilter to match :.* .* everything that contained a space in the gcos...the clons werent affected, then I did the same...

hi if your nick is registered, you are logged as an ircop with /oper you are superadmin, and in the /os staff command there is a snip as root with a * and yet u dont have the permision to add a admin... then thats weird.. but make sure you reloaded the .conf /os reload or /os restart and try again.....

I understand the problem, but UnrealIRCd - and pretty much any other ircd - is not designed to have all users coming from 1 single host (and rightfully so, since it has several unresolvable problems). thanks Jason I changed the regex to .* but with only * worked fine, it kills ALL the clonesx users.. here in our net, its hard to do so, because they use normal usernames.. and not random ones.. the only contra is the connect messages and spamfilter match when kills them...they make flood, thats why...

in the oper block, in ur unrealircd.conf, make sure u add the can_override flag, ej. flags {...v...};
then u can change modes without being op in the channel...

the /notice do that...a notice, but the describe, makes a /query and then a /notice if the user has your pv opened, and then u make the /describe, it works like a normal notice, even I configured my script to read notices in the window opened at the moment, but the describe do open a query... and it...
