Having the ability to block files we know are potentially harmful always out weight "something new". When it comes to IRC Administration or IRC Security or just security we all should be in agreement that protecting our users should always remain our number one concern.

well what you can do is stop using unstable services! and then stop posting on unreal's support forum because you use unstable services!


irc services are by far the most stable services you can find... and there isn't anyone who can defeat that

Well, if I was in your place I would try different combinations such at seeing whether or not it likes the _ as part of the password.... first try with a simple username and password like "ftp://conf:[email protected]"; if that works build from there...

to kanechart: I'm guessing that at the number of post here you still do not understand. Everyone that has replied to one of your post has sent you off to read the documentation. Bascially (if i'm not mistaken) they want you to not post here and to go off and read the documentation. Have Fun!

The download section of the site is the only place to download Unreal. You can use CVS to update your current version. But we won't link here.

One negative consequence is that you'd be modifying the source and therefore losing support here.

Anything inside of that (including editing struct.h) isn't supported...

actually they are disabled by default, which is what I meant by "pre-disabled"

as far as disabling them, if you are using linux/unix which I doubt you are. it comes pre-disabled. On windows you'd have to recompile without PREFIX_AQ.
