As codemastr says... that's what +mu does... only ops will see the "<IRC> User: msg" part, it's a feature... It only happends if both +m and +u are set. You can shut it up however by just banning +b IRC!*@* :).

Just experienced (on a network which isn't mine) a spamfilter remove bug too, it just removed the wrong entry (!?).
I hope this is the same bug... assuming it is I now got a reproducable case, I'll put a bugreport in bugs.* and will look into this issue.

eQuiliBrium: I don't understand where you got that from ;p. to add a spamfilter entry you use 'add' or '+'. to remove a spamfilter entry you use 'del', 'remove' or '-' it are just multiple words which have the same meaning. if (!strcasecmp(parv[1], "add") || !strcmp(parv[1], "+")...

I'm unable to reproduce that here (tried A-B and A-B-C network style). As you probably know you can only add/remove global spamfilters, not the ones that are from spamfilter config blocks... Anyway if you believe this is a bug, please report it at http://bugs.unrealircd.org/ perhaps also include som...

Well, for bugs/suggestions go to http://bugs.unrealircd.org/

[oh not @ specific channels, coz no we won't do that.. it's to catch spam, as others mentioned.. use strict filters, not broad... But other suggestions for spamfilter]

<0.001% (prolly even less) false positives are acceptable to me.
Let's please stay realistic and not pissed at each other if someone else's regex / spamfilter block is better ;).

Guidelines on posting spamfilters

This is the place to post spamfilters which might be useful to others, eg: global spam, trojans/virusses/worms, etc...
