Re: help to banned this bots

In my first reply, I told you two options: 1) You come up with a regex (I gave you one as an example, and I'm still not sure it's a working one for you problem, which brings me to option two..) 2) BOPM . Add some blacklists in the config (as explained on the Wiki) and let it run. Almost 99% of your ...

Re: help to banned this bots

I think what 4mirc is getting at is they don't know how to ban people from his/her net. (which is an EXTREMELY bad thing!! I totally didn't think about that option. I just assumed he did. @4mirc: If you don't know how it works, I totally agree with Katsklaw. One more thing that tells me you have go...

Re: help to banned this bots

Use a BOPM, they're all in the commonly known dns blacklists, such as ProxyBL, Swiftbl and DroneBL. You could also use a regex like: ^Maktoob[0-9]{4}![0-9]{5}@^ BE CAREFULL WITH THAT, I NEVER MADE REGEXES BEFORE. ANYONE WITH KNOWLEDGE SHOULD CHECK THIS SYNTAX BEFORE PUTTING IT ONTO A LIVE NET. USE I...

Re: Too many IPS

Did filling out the IP in the syntax work? I remember using always the IP instead of the hostmask.

Good luck. I'll probably be off for the weekend! Sorry. :)

Re: Too many IPS

I'm not sure about this, because it was a long time ago I had to preform this command, but I believe the syntax you give is incorrect. /msg OperServ exception add +0 IP 0 intel233 Without the astrix(*)! -- Do you have a dynamic IP address you're on? Then the IP changes time to time and would explain...

Re: Hey i want pay conf with md5

Why would you want to pay for something you could easily manage by just reading all the comments added in the configs???

The feature you're talking about should be done via a module and cannot be done by a option in the config.

As far as I know that isn't possible in this set-up.

Re: how to compile a new modules for unrealircd and neostats ?

[Moderator: Post removed. If you don't want to help, then don't post.] I actually was helping. I proved to the man that one simple Google search with his question, literally, would brought him to the right answer on the first hit and which could have saved a lot of time. It's the basic principe you...

Re: Aliases

Perhaps, but good looking usually does the trick! :) # /* Network configuration */ # set { # network-name "Testirc"; # default-server "irc.testirc.com"; # services-server "services.testirc.com"; That services-server doesn't match your services-server, so you need to cha...

Re: Help If Possible

/map will do that same thing. Making such things invisible to your users will give you a false sense of security . Look for the section "Maps/Links". There's no point in hiding such things. If someone wants to find out such information, he or she is possible to discover it anyway. Good exa...

Re: Ban Redirect m_banlink.c

m_adult.c is buggy. As for example, on my previous 3.2.8 (the last server I used to administre on) it wouldn't unload for example. I would recommend against it to use this module. You're better off without and make sure the topic states 18+ and/or have ChanServ send a entrymsg. :-)
