Re: View real IP when operator/oper

You should see the full IP with the IRCD connection notice (if you have the proper snomask). I've also found /userhost to be a quick command to get the IP with the minimum of displayed information

Honestly, what's so hard about telling someone something you already know? you know... I have a life and don't have time to read every single doc. Although, I DO read the doc when I get stuck on something.. I look at the section I'm looking for.. SO, I looked for the "snomask" section and...

there is, but you have to still put in a search term, the 1day/7day/month options are to restrict the view to posts of those times..

I guess i could use a wildcard search, but many forums are adopting this as a quick link option, i think it would be usefull.

last 24-48 hour view

Many forums have this option, i find it usefull if the cookies get screwed up and I loose track of what recent posts have been made.

It would allow the viewing of all posts within the last 24-48 hours (Depending on configuration).

first, make a proper listen block listen *:1278 { options { serversonly; }; }; servers and services are not designed to use the same port as clients. then make sure you have a proper class class servers { pingfreq 60; maxclients 10; sendq 1000000; connfreq 300; }; then make sure your link blocks use...

sorry for offtopic, but is using dns 127.0.0.1 on loaded servers bad idea? I mean, I can replace 127.0.0.1 with the external ip of my host (the localhost), would it help? Or do you mean that using dns on the same machine where ircd is bad? when under a dos attack, you change the DNS to point to 127...

It doesn't matter. Unreal always uses GMT. correct, unreal does, however the time stamp he is matching it to is generated by his client witch normaly uses local time rather then GMT.
