.dll is the dynamic link library files for windows...

Meaning you should have uncommented the .so modules, not the .dll's

Might wanna get to understanding *nix a bit more before trying to run UnrealIRCd :P

X-tab.org should have all 3.2.7 modules currently updated, try clearing your cache for your browser perhaps, if that doesn't fix it, please state what module it is you're trying to download.

I really don't know where you could get that module, there isn't any Official module matching what you're saying that I can see in the DB, only HelpOp module is a paid module by Syzop that gives a Helpop login system of sorts. Maybe check the 3rd party hosting sites, I don't recall any helpop module...

If you are using a home box, Services should be connecting on localhost, not the external IP of your network as given by the ISP when you connect to the web. Double check any firewall software you got, just because you may be forwarding ports from the router doesn't mean any type of firewall softwar...

Assuming you don't have any other clients with 'leet' like names, spamfilter would probably catch the lot of those.

Other than that, I'd suggest implementing like BOPM w/ some DNSBL's, especially TOR lookups, since those are mainly just proxy connections obviously.

Did you 'make clean' by chance before doing the whole recompile previously? Generally thats a good idea at least, as that makes sure everything gets made fresh so to say.

Not real familiar with grsecurity on gentoo, but perhaps rather than using the ports from gentoo or whatever, download the latest version yourself since 3.2.6 Stable has been out for awhile, which sorta trumps what 3.2.6-rc1 would probably be, maybe see if it covers anything else check bugs.unrealir...

Check out EfNet's Tor system perhaps, its from what I've been told fairly in depth in lines of Tor connections, not to mention prob gets frequently updated with new listings considering I guess they add Tor matches from their own network to it.

Binarys in *nix tend to be straight files, no extention (so you don't have .exe files like you do in windows or whatever), generally the UnrealIRCd binary is found under /src/, just a single file called 'ircd' Thats the binary, it should have been created after ./Config and make were ran, make sure ...

Only a number, you don't need to specify 'kbit/s' after or anything, just a single number.

So if you wanted to put it at 40, you'd simply type 40.

Just to note, kbit and kb is basically the same thing, lower case kb or Kb is generally referred to as kilobits, KB is kilobytes. So I've always assumed they were measuring by kilobits. Generally the default is like, 35kb/s or so I believe? I'd have to imagine you aren't going to exceed that default...
