We are getting money DEVELOPING in Visual Studio .NET, not MONO, not Kylix, not Perl. When you find at least ONE development platform in *NIX/Linux like Visual Studio .NET . .. .. you will not find it, do not worry about that, that is not a possibility, is a fact. And I agree : Mozzila FF is more s...

No matter what protection you can devise, there are ways around it. For example, there was a network that did such a system, and embedded bold and colour tags in their "security" code to prevent bots. It took me less than half an hour to create a bot able to sucessfully get past this, as a...

Since when do Anope bots use +q [founder]? :P. I've not used Anope myself in a while, but previously it used +a, and on all current Anope networks I'm on, it's using +a.. Anyhow: You can't instruct Anope what modes to give it's bots. This is a preconfigured, built in setting. The prefixes [removal o...

You ask me, I answered you. On the other hand, I feel that you are wasting your time, in the best sense of the word. I tried several times just like you now, but there is an ethic here that there is to follow. I wish you luck. I really don't appreciate unhelpful, hostile attitudes like this, and ot...

Correct, syzop. :P

There will be a small file [in the /lib subdirectory, unless my memory really sucks] called '.lock' which you need to remove.

Then all will be well.

I'll be a little nicer, and mention there *may* be a module to do this someplace. Have a look around.

On the other foot, being an ass is only going to get your threads locked, posts deleted, and possibly booted off the forum. You don't make the rules, we do :).

Have a pleasant day.

It's external from the IRC network, making it immune to things like m_spy, or syzop's monitor.

Hrm, I was pretty sure they had a hobbyist version released now, with just the compiler-- no IDE?

Using /stats, you may be able to retrieve this information.

Could ask one of the stats program developers if they'd be able to do a module to do this.

Things have changed, and as far as I'm aware VS6 can no longer compile Unreal. Use a precompiled version, or grab VS.NET.

I'll test tonight with my copy of VS6 and see what happens.
