Hi,

What you've got to realise is that *somebody is not around 24 hours a day*.. That aside, and the double post ignored..

Can you please quote the specific section of the docs you're referring to?

Thanks.

I'd say it's probably a custom module. Try asking their network staff if they are willing to release it.

If we don't understand what you mean, we can't possibly help. That's no reason for that kind of language, thanks.

as in: anope ignores any changes you make to that database. Read the anope documentation.

And, it works fine-- till you start getting a larger network.

Anope [as is] won't really allow you to do a lot with it's SQL, especially considering it's read-only, and the schema will [more than likely] change if/when 2.0 ever happens. Atheme supports readable SQL, and uses XMLRPC to achieve things like web registration. unservices [really crap, bahamut-only]...

firstly, try to choose another irc client ( I'm sur efor 98% you're using mirc). Try x-chat. If you still have those ping timeouts, post here :P Can you stop spouting crap? :P I use mIRC, and have for 4 years -- on [around] 10-14 networks, 30-50 channel windows, and numerous PMs. All in all, fairly...

1) Should be doable, but I'd not recommend it. Reasoning being, if that one hub goes down, all servers get split from each other, and you'll get one hell of a resynch happening... not fun. 2) Not sure, not had time to look in detail sorry. 3) Everything will split and rejoin, massive bandwidth use, ...

Depends, sometimes the ircd will see them as ping timeouts -- in the [admittedly odd] cases I've seen, they were.. fun, odd socket errors.

I have actually heard of another person [at least] having similar problems to yours under CentOS, I'm starting to wonder if it's something they do differently.

With a change in OS, their problems were solved. Obviously, this may not be a choice for you.

Code: Select all

<A HREF="?page=about" CLASS="nolink">About</A>
I see no javascript on those links.

Besides that, shift + click works fine on this end.

If it doesn't (I've not tested in IE) - try right click + new window.

See documentation on oper blocks. This is a fairly simple issue. (hint: oper::from)
