If you really dont want to use services there is a Module by W00t that can help you . As noted by Syzop on the module page this sort of thing is best handled by services in the long run . I also have to say that the way you have it setup is a bit strange . Why not just let users join normally as hav...

When a #chan is created the creator gets the privs . Thats how it works . If you dont want want this happening then you need to stop temp #chans being created . ok so he is not cloning , is he flooding the system with commands or plain text . If its text then your flood settings need to be altered . when you say he put a bad word in #help what do you mean .

gah my cd has done a bunk as per usual .... Dont suppose anyone has got modules compiled for win32 on version 3.0A2 or 3.0A3 . If you have the A3 then the main neostats would be appreciated as well .

In order to better give advice you wil need to tell us how these attacks happen . Flooding and DOS are different things . What exactly is the attacker doing , Is he utilising clones for example .

check those db files arent set read only . Seem to remember having that error myself but Im damned if I can remember how I shifted it . IIRC it was the file attributes themselves .

serves me right for lookin for stuff half asleep . The Alpha 2 win release is in the older versions section . Doesnt appear to be an Alpha 3 release for win32 yet .

Ah nads the modules arent compiled for windows . Best go looking for my vis studio cd again lol .

*sigh* did you bother reading that comment by Stealth ?

You cant limit the nick length it is 30 chars .

The only way is to modify unreal's source which is NOT SUPPORTED (so asking how is a bit stupid tbh) by Unreal or this forum .
