sdamon : Where are you from? I'm telling you, this is Cuba, (opers, clients, servers links, even my mother) connects via proxy. Please stop being so self-sufficient/arrogant and offer some help, when you began on this, you wasn't an erudite as now you suppose it. We all know that a solution for use...

In any way, cannot make that in cuban nets, since the only port that is open is the 443(Secure Socket Layer), we use that port for the clients, it would not be good idea to also use it for ssl clients, besides, cannot have two types of connections running for oneself port(correct me if I'm wrong). Y...

Just include "aliases/anope.conf"; make sure of not having changed anything in the alias block on your unrealircd.conf. If still don't work, well I think you're doing/missing anything, or maybe you have found a bug(report it). But the configuration should work well with what Undertaker sug...

Modify the sources? No, I didn't want to do that. Isn't supported. Write a BOT? Well, as far as I know, Numeric answers (RPL_.*) don't help us to obtain the client's nick that is connecting(correct me if I'm wrong), so what I told about ON:SNOTICE, please forget it. So, you have to write a module(I'...

With something you begins, later goes catching users. It would be a dream for me to have here in Cuba more than two servers. I only have one and with to many users!! :S

1- By modifying the sources (you'll be losing support)
2- Write a BOT, make it IRCop and configure the ON:SNOTICE with the pattern

Code: Select all

server ! Client connecting on port 6667: blah (ident@localhost) [c-clients]

then use a /chgident blah New_Counterfeit_Random_Ident

Hope that helps.

That's correct, besides you can specify SSL options if the host wants to connect via Secure Socket Layer.

1- Never use 6667-6669 ports to link.
2- Try using username *

Yes, you don't have to explain your post 'cause I'm here at UCI and the ViceRector of Informatic Matters says : No usaremos Linux hasta que no estemos capacitados, por ahora, tendremos que resolvernosla con Windows Of course that you know the meaning of that, but if others wanna read : We'll not gon...

Whatever you say, it's just becoming more complicated for you, 'cause you don't use Linux yet ... so, be sure of what you're talking about, you'll not want to do a comparison, cause you know that NOBODY here in Cuba knows about how-to recompile a simple 2.4 kernel for example ;) I guess I'm typing p...
