You should see the full IP with the IRCD connection notice (if you have the proper snomask). I've also found /userhost to be a quick command to get the IP with the minimum of displayed information

Many forums have this option, i find it usefull if the cookies get screwed up and I loose track of what recent posts have been made.
It would allow the viewing of all posts within the last 24-48 hours (Depending on configuration).

sorry for offtopic, but is using dns 127.0.0.1 on loaded servers bad idea? I mean, I can replace 127.0.0.1 with the external ip of my host (the localhost), would it help? Or do you mean that using dns on the same machine where ircd is bad? when under a dos attack, you change the DNS to point to 127...

It doesn't matter. Unreal always uses GMT. correct, unreal does, however the time stamp he is matching it to is generated by his client witch normaly uses local time rather then GMT.
