channel list module for clients that dont have list command
is it possible please to have a module wrote that when users type a simple command it will private message them a list of the top 10 channels on the server ? i am thinking of clients like Chatmosphere etc that do not have the /list command available to them so that they can at least see the main roo...

you "have" set yourself and the others on Operserv access list havent you ??

There used to be an Unreal module out there that allowed users to ban a user with a vhost and it set it on the actual masked ip under the vhost if that makes sense (what would have shown without the vhost) so as to stop ban evasion by chnaging vhosts.. anyone know what this module was called and whe...

if your host is very dynamic ... there is one easy option but please bear in mind one important fact' It is NOT secure.. from { userhost *@*; }; that will allow ANY ip to oper up.. provided they have the oper name and the oper password. It's not ideal but that is one way you could do it....

the whole idea of svs is that it is a services level (uline) set of commands. in order to use svs commands without using operserv is to uline yourself but that is very much not advisable as you can do alot of damage if you do not know the commands correctly. plus with svsnick .. it's not just a case...

can i remove that get_umodew for helpops then as i dont really want the helpop to have that function if can help it

custom block wanted
is there a way to add a custom block for helpop class as opposed to putting in opers. i would like a helpop class where i can only give them the ability to local/global kill only and not have any other oper flags when they log on.. can this be done and how please. i am using 3.2.8.1 with anoper 1.8.5

so basically then, by simply being able to invite myself to a channel and then joining it without needing chanserv access means the can_overrride flag is actually working then yes ?

Both my bots have the same flags as me, but again.. they are all different named opers and connecting from userhost *@*

ok. lets start with the can_override flag then.. i have no duplicates on the oper block against my name. we did some testing as a training session yesterday and with a room marked +i (invite) i could not enter it without either sajoining myself to it or manually typing /invite <mynick> <channelname>...

I use the old flag system as opposed the new version but i have found that can_override (v) does not work on the old flag system... I am using unreal 3.2.8.1 with anope 1.8.5 any idea why despite having all the flags.. its not working correctly please as i dont really want to have to go an edit all ...

it was only down to a few high level rooms with stuff going on that was for services and netadmins only and didnt want lower level opers from being able to see the room and poke their heads in
