Re: !--Unreal Won't Start--!
Are you sure it's not Unrealircd.conf.txt? Is that file the only one showing an extension? if so it is probably a .txt file.

Have you tried copying the color code of your client into the unrealircd.conf file?

Re: rude irc
Actually if you knew anything about RR you would notice that your from South Carolina... Shows you're not from Africa... You're also a residential user... Not a business... As for the bots I CANNOT think of 1 good reason as to why you would need to load a bot into a support channel to ask a QUESTION.

Re: OperServ ModLoad
If you are using Anope and set LogChan in the config you can do a /os set logchan on. Join the logchan and try to load the modules and it will be a little bit more descriptive about why it can't load them.

Re: Need help with CIDR
Well a CIDR like /8 and /6 are too vague IMHO you want to get into something more restrictive like /12 or /16... What you really need to read up on is subnets and creating them.... that's what determines what your CIDR will block.

If I'm not mistaken you can't sell that module because you used code from m_ircops and Syzop released his module under the GPL.

Re: Need help with CIDR
123.0.0.0/8 effectively has a subnet mask of 255.0.0.0 which means everything in the 123 network would be banned. The 123.0.0.0/6 gives it an effective subnet mask of 252.0.0.0 which still pretty much means everything in 123 is going to be banned...

Re: Problem with oper.
I can do "/os set superadmin on", but when other users do it, they cannot get superadmin. Oper etc works.. Here's my block oper username { class clients; from { userhost *@*; }; password "***"; flags { netadmin; can_die; can_restart; can_wallops; can_globops; can_localroute; can...

Nothing that's fine. The crash would have been indicated at the end of your ircd.log file.

Re: Unreal stopping
Check your ircd.log. Also make sure that you have all 3rd party modules unloaded and run it again to see if it is a 3rd party module.

Re: callerid module download location?
All module downloads work. You must click on the icon to the left of the module name not the module name.
