Anope 1.7.6 and Unreal 3.2.2 using ns_noop module auto op

Anope 1.7.6 and Unreal 3.2.2 using ns_noop module auto op

I've got this problem with anope 1.7.6 under unreal 3.2.2

I'm using the ns_noop module for anope to allow the command /msg nickserv autoop on/off to allow a user to select wether they are auto opped on joining a room or not.

For some unexplained reason this is NOT working. I think it might have something to do with levels I have XOP set on for the rooms in question as default but not sure if this effects this or not. I've tried turning XOP off but to no avail.

Is there any other way someone can set wether they are auto opped upon joining a room or not by services or can someone who is using the ns_noop module for anope let me know how they got it working?
