Right which services are you using ? . Check there for errors . Most will have their own log file . If its connecting up to unreal correctly then I suspect the services package isnt set up correctly . Does unreal show the services being squit or dc'd ? .

You need to be more descriptive and tell us errors and describe your problems. I know you are from Austrailia, so I know you know English. If you don't help us help you, I will lock this thread. This is all getting rediculous.

the log file has no errors in it :| it would help if someone could quickly look at my config file to see if its all correct

Never had that problem with IRCservices and Unreal.

How does your listen block for port 6667 looks like?

if you have

Code: Select all

 clientsonly;
in it then it will not work since you says the IRCservice should be in a server class. Dont know if will get connected as it does now though.

Ok, this is getting farcial. I agree with Stealth, this will be locked.

You said there is no logfile, fine - yet you also said "it shows the services beening connected and disconnected." - I presume you meant the ircd, in which case, this is *still* an error, and is extremly relevant to your situation!

This is NOT a smart way to answer and ask questions.
