ircservices with ssl

ircservices with ssl

Hi
I'm new at this so plz don't laugh :)

I have one port open in unrealircd, port 7000. On that port I use SSL and it works for all my clients to connect to it. Is it possible to link the ircservices to that port also, that I run ssl on? I can't seem to get it to work. I get connection refused all the time. Earlier I ran the ircservices on port 6667 and that worked but I want to switch everything to SSL.

And also, can I get the irc-services to connect when I use set::options::dont-resolve; ?

I don't think ircservices yet has the function to use SSL or not.

Yes, set::options::dont-resolve won't affect servers linking.

usually services run at the same machine the uplink-ircd is running on - so if you connect them using 127.0.0.1 noone is able to get any communication
(except someone entered you machine, but in this case the 127.0.0.1-traffic is a minor problem ;) )
