I can vouch for it working, had someone GZlined by it because their IP was on a DNSBL

I cannot suggest to use BOPM as its matchmask is too hard.
For example it bans a dynamic IP of a great german internet provider
*.t-online.de

Well one point to make clear here is that all depends on which DNSBL's you use. Simple answer: BOPM only ban's what it's told to. Find out which DNSBL is banning their dynamic IP's and remove it. And then you have a BOPM which doesn't ban them.

So in future don't advise against something just because you don't know how to set it up properly.

Does anyone out there have the BOPM files from before the server crash? The version that's hosted by blitz doesn't compile on my machine and I was told the last release of BOPM from before the crash would.

@Jobe:

Yes you are right. I was talking about the blitzed.org database.
And I used BOPM first time when it has just released first version.

So sorry if some people here got it wrong, I really had to add this info. Sorry again @ Jobe.

But as a matter of fact you could post a link for other readers to a few other BOPM-DBs. Thanks man!

I know the thread is a little old now but i found the link on this forum by searching for DNSBL and some of the DNSBL's listed if not all still work.

http://searchirc.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=2499

I know you'll probably want to rush in and use them all but please read the entire thread because as a few users have stated one of 2 of the listed DNSBL's there give false positives (inaccurate results)
