i´ve got the services running too, and it´s normal that a window appeares and disappeares.
if the services don´t link to the Unreal Server you should read the error log.

ok i am running it now and have a few questions about the services...

1. can a channel registered permanently under the founder name ChanServ, or at least, permanently such as #help and #lobby

[11:16:05am] (..notice..) OperServ: Only Super-Admins can use this command.

2. i am already a Network Administrator, how can i set myself as the Super-Admins too?

3. How can i enable the command:?
/msg NickServ SET KILL IMME

4. NickServ wont force me to change my nickname even it is registered and protected, why?
[11:35:02am] (..notice..) NickServ: This nickname is registered and protected. If it is your
[11:35:02am] (..notice..) NickServ: nick, type /msg NickServ IDENTIFY password. Otherwise,
[11:35:03am] (..notice..) NickServ: please choose a different nick.

and nothing comes out anymore

5. i assigned BotServ to join in a channel
when i op myself, the bot deop me
any idea to op myself as an ircop while the bot joined the channel?

6. after i added a nickname to nickserv forbid, how to remove it?

1. ?

2. ?

3. in the config file remove the (#) on NSAllowKillImmed line, update and then /msg nickserv set kill immed on

4. on unreal config file add the services hostname to the ulines it will give services more power

5. Are you channel owner? if not and if Secureops is on, you`ll never get op while the bot is on channel, it doesn`t matter if you`re ircop or admin , you need to have access on that channel

6. ?

1) /msg ChanServ help set noexpire
Also so the channel doesnt get dropped when the nick expires, /msg NickServ help saset noexpire

2) /msg OperServ help set superadmin

6) /msg NickServ help drop

7) add a host mask to the access list for the nick, thereby stopping you from being killed for using that nick.

8) No!

Excess flood quit errors are the IRCd protecting itself.

If the IRCd has to for example let the user stay conncted, it then has to handle every message even if only to ignore them. Where as disconnecting the user for Excess flood saves on resources and stops the flooding from taking up so much proccessing time that other users messages need.

Anyway you cant fully disable the Excess flood trigger, you can only increase the queue sizes (taking up even more resources) that when filled cause the Excess flood wuit's. To do so see you class blocks.
