Perhaps I should learn a "new trick" and deny links in signatures...

What is a very simple firewall that I can use to control internet rights for programs on my computer? Perhaps I must be clearer. I am not going to use zone alarm that mucks up my system start up (although it is a very nice firewall program). A router is not going to aide me at all when it comes to blocking the programs on my hard disk.
