CTCP VERSION ON CONNECT

Post by nowicz » Thu Apr 08, 2004 5:31 pm

Hi,

Is there any way to get something like that:
[19:25:23] * Connecting to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (6667)
-
[19:25:25] -xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx- *** If you are having problems connecting due to ping timeouts, please type /quote pong C656FF9F or /raw pong C656FF9F now.

[19:25:29] [IRC VERSION]

-Welcome to the XXX IRC Network nick!ident@hostname.com
Your host is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, running version Unreal3.2-beta19
[...]

I mean CTCP VERSION on connect, but before showing MOTD.

thanks,
nowicz.[/b]

It should do that if you have any ban version blocks in the config.

Some StatServ's (eg SolarStats) do that too.
