how can i stop /list and how can imake one IRC Operator thanks

You don't. If you don't want your channel to show up in list you make it +s (secret).
That's how it has been working for like 10-15 years.. There's no good reason to disable /LIST completely.

ok another thing ive got some hidden chans,users

There are 0 users and 67 invisible on 1 servers
1 operator(s) online
9 channels formed
I have 67 clients and 0 servers

Current Local Users: 67 Max: 348
Current Global Users: 67 Max: 136

how do i get them up apart from /list because i cant view them i that only 3 chans thanks

Lynden I really think you ought to go read the docs mate . What your asking is really basic things.

User and channel modes
User and Oper Commands

Theres the links direct to the sections. You really need to know this stuff as its the tools of the admin . If you cant grasp the basic commands like /lusers then you really shouldnt be running a server .

Also the search function on here is helpful . A simple search under the terms "disable /list" throws up this Rather helpful post which answers your question
