/user command?

What exactly is the /user command and how do i use it and what is it for?

The USER command is used by your client when you connect. It sends the server your username and your real name.

To see more of how it works, and you use mIRC, do this:

Code: Select all

/debug -p
/server <server>

You will see the USER command sent when it connects.
