blocking certain words in global

Post by LaMpiR »

Is this possible on any way ? I have few admins which think that they are gods and they send global messages all the time with url of another network. Is it possible for example when they type
/os global Visit http://www.url.com
That they can't send it...

If i had ircops that abused their abilities like that, the oper block would disapear very quickly. If it's an admin from another server, the link block would probably get removed.

Spamfilters can probably deal with this issue, but i would deal with the source of the problem (the admin/ircop) and not the results.
Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Even if you could /spamfilter text sent to services via aliases (which you can't (yet)), it wouldn't help, because IRCops are not affected by spamfilter.

You should delink the server - if the IRCops/Admins there don't follow the rules of the network, they shouldn't be part of it.
If you don't make mistakes, you aren't really trying.
